Meet the RV Karens
If you spend enough time traveling in RV parks, you’ll eventually meet a few “RV Karens” — the rule enforcers, quiet-hour watchdogs, and campground critics. This page is a playful, good-humored look at the eccentric personalities that keep us all on our toes (and strictly following the rules).
Morning Walk Karen
The self-appointed loop inspector. Always the first one up, she does laps around the loop while subtly checking for unauthorized rug sizes and uncoiled hoses.
The Sewer Inspector
He treats the dump station like a high-stakes crime scene. If your hose doesn't have a proper support ramp, he'll provide an unsolicited 15-minute lecture on sewer dynamics.
The Quiet Hour Enforcer
At exactly 9:59 PM, she stands by her power pedestal with a stopwatch. One muffled laugh at 10:01 PM will result in a frantic knock and a reminder that 'quiet is a rule'.
Karen Stories: Volume 2
The Leveling Leveler
Armed with a magnetic bubble level and a persistent knock, this Karen won't rest until your RV is perfectly horizontal. They approach every slightly tilted rig as a personal affront to the laws of physics and neighborly decency.
Speed Limit Sam
The self-appointed 5-MPH speed marshal. If your tires so much as kick up a single pebble, Sam will be there with a judgmental stopwatch and a lecture on the safety of imaginary children playing in the gravel.
Pet Policy Patty
Patty knows the rulebook better than the park owners. If your dog's leash is even an inch over the six-foot limit, she'll have her measuring tape and a frown ready before you can even say 'good boy'.
